- Conducted mastication to reduce juniper density, improving grass growth & alleviating water demand & in the watershed.
- Removed an estimated 50,000 junipers from the Ashton Hillside, potentially reclaiming up to 1.5 million gallons of water in wet years.
- Addressed water table concerns in a drought-prone region by mitigating the significant water consumption of junipers, which can absorb up to 30 gallons per day.
- Improved land health by reducing fire-resistant, pest-resistant junipers that dominate various soil types, from poorly drained clay to porous pumice sands.
